FCA Endurance - South Metro Atlanta
2010 Plans and Projects
After a great 2009 season the team is looking forward to what God has in-store for 2010. Here are a few events that we are working on. Please feel free to contact us with any opinions or ideas you may have.
Matthew 28:19-20, "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." -Matthew 28:19-20 (NIV)
1. Kids/Parents Triathlon Camp.
-With many kids today spending more time on the couch rather than being outside, our team feels it’s important to both challenge the youth to be active in sports/healthy living and in CHRIST. We hope to encourage both with a 3-6 week training program for youth in the area.

2. Local mission opportunities to include; food banks, homeless shelters, etc.
-The Lord instructs us to give to those that are less fortunate. Our team hopes to do this by volunteering and giving to those that need our help. We plan to find one event each month to give our time to help those that need it, both material and spiritual.

3. International mission trip to Haiti- Sept. 2010.
-In Matthew 28:19-20(above) Jesus gives us the Great Commission. We will be putting a mission trip together to help build, evangelism, preach to those that have never heard the Gospel. This will allow fellow teammates and believers to step outside their comfort zone and let God take control.

4. Weekly Bible studies followed by team training ride or run.-
Training for endurance sports takes a lot of dedication, workouts, and discipline. Giving the Lord anything less in our spiritual life would be falling short. We will begin different Bible studies based on the needs of our community and team.
