David Sawyer - July 2009

David is another teammate from the north part of Atlanta and is working closely with David Hicks in possibly forming another team on the north side of Atlanta. David has raced triathlons and running races the last couple of years. He most recently raced in Chattanooga with Doug and James from our team.

Sharon Hicks - July 2009

Sharon is married to fellow team member David Hicks that I meet in June at the West Point Lake Triathlon. Sharon has competed in one triathlon but several road running races and is currently training for the Chicago Marathon.

Many of you may remember from a previous email that the Hick's live in Gainesville, Ga. and so we don't see them as much as we would like. We are thankful to have them apart of our team/ministry and look forward to seeing them at future races......to include the Ga. Vet's sprint tri on August 15th.

From Sharon:
Dave and I are looking forward to getting to know you guys better, as well as FCA Endurance. Dave worked with FCA on the high school level with his students when he taught in Florida, so glad to see God working FCA back into our lives.

This summer, I will have 3 triathlons completed! 2 of them will be Olympic size ones, this was a new goal for me this year. Last year, I just started doing triathlons. Any encouragement on marathon training will be appreciated. I am running Chicago (and very intimitated with 26.2)! This is where I am originally from, and met my husband there, so it is very special to go back there and run past special places.

Curtis Tucker - July 2009

Most of you already know Curtis and wife Kathy along with their two daughters. Curtis joins us as being our first "true" cyclist and specializes in road racing along with some other kind of riding ( I think they call it mountain biking).ha..ha

Kyle Brandenberger - June 2009

Kyle just recently got out of the military and has moved back to the Jonesboro area. Kyle is a graduate of the US Military Academy, West Point (class of 2004). He is an avid adventure racer and long distance runner.

He is currently looking for employment in the school system and wants to coach cross country. He is a great resource for those looking to work on their run.

Scott Horton - May 2009

Many of you already know of Scott through his affiliation with our team as the "run georgia" guy. He is responsible for helping us with the IM Augusta 70.3 entry fees and also the design of our new web site. Scott is a personal friend of mine and lives in Canton. Although he is further north of "south metro" I know that he will be an asset to our team and ministry.
